At character creation, choose one of the following Elemental Furies to be your guide:

Windcraft [Special, Starting, Purchased]
Special: You must be an Aleran to qualify for this Boon.
Farsighted fliers, the very air around you is your playground. Your talents lie in speed and agility, though the sky is limitless with possibilities. An Windcrafter can bend light and weather to her will, provided they remain clean and avoid walking beneath any stony structures.

Metalcraft [Special, Starting, Purchased]
Special: You must be an Aleran to qualify for this Boon.
You have a penchant for swordplay, for any metal in your hands will leap to your command. You need not fear pain or exhaustion, but the wild touch of wood will send your furies scurrying.
You may now exert control over furies of this element. See the Furies page for more details. You now qualify to purchase Windcraft and Watercraft.

Water [Special, Starting, Purchased]
Special: You must be an Aleran to qualify for this Boon.
You are a healer, a communicator, an empath, a shapeshifter. Water furies possess vast, understated power whose potential can only be fulfilled by the most clever of Watercrafters. Take care to avoid the caress of flames, or you will lose your power.

Earthcraft [Special, Starting, Purchased]
Special: You must be an Aleran to qualify for this Boon.
You are the epitome of strength and virility. You hold power over beasts both wild and domestic, and no one standing on your ground can hide. Keep your feet firmly on the ground, however, lest your strength leave you.
You may now exert control over furies of this element. See the Furies page for more details. You now qualify to purchase Watercraft and Woodcraft.

Wood [Special, Starting, Purchased]
Special: You must be an Aleran to qualify for this Boon.
Every branch and blade of grass, dead or alive, is at your beck and call. The forests will hide you and arrows fly true for you. Avoid the cages of industry, for metal holds no love for you.

Fire [Special, Starting, Purchased]
Special: You must be an Aleran to qualify for this Boon.
Passion is your weapon, and you can ignite it in others with ease. Heat, and therefore its opposite, are yours to manipulate to devastating effect. Bath houses might be a luxury to avoid, as water will easily extinguish your flames.

Gaining More Furies

As a Crafter grows in strength and skill, she might find that she has more control over the Furies of Carna than she originally thought. After the first element, additional Furies can only be purchased according to the Furies the player already possesses. The following table can be used for easier reference.

Knight Aeris [Special, Purchased]
Special: You must possess the Windcraft Boon to qualify for this Boon.
To lesser Windcrafters the sky is a playground. For you, it’s your home.
You gain one Emblem per scene to use on any Windcrafting test.

Knight Ferrous [Special, Purchased]
Special: You must possess the Metalcraft Boon to qualify for this Boon.
Your blood sings at the touch of steel. Your hands are not often empty of it.
You gain one Emblem per scene to use on any Metalcrafting test.

Knight Aqua [Special, Purchased]
Special: You must possess the Watercraft Boon to qualify for this Boon.
You feel others as an extension of yourself, and ‘yourself’ is whoever you want it to be.
You gain one Emblem per scene to use on any Watercrafting test.

Knight Terra [Special, Purchased]
Special: You must possess the Earthcraft Boon to qualify for this Boon.
Your strength might be comical if it weren’t so terrifying, and nothing moves over your land without your knowledge.
You gain one Emblem per scene to use on any Earthcrafting test.

Knight Flora [Special, Purchased]
Special: You must possess the Woodcraft Boon to qualify for this Boon.
The trees don’t just bend to your will, they’re zealots to your cause.
You gain one Emblem per scene to use on any Woodcrafting test.

Knight Ignus [Special, Purchased]
Special: You must possess the Firecraft Boon to qualify for this Boon.
Fire isn’t your only weapon, but when it comes to bringing the heat—or taking it— there’s no one better.
You gain one Emblem per scene to use on any Firecrafting test.

Lordship [Special, Purchased]
Special: You must possess at least four Kighthood Boons to qualify for this Boon.
Your Furycrafting skills are legendary, and your mere presence begets admiring followers wherever you go.
